Oxidized Mediumcore adds various changes to Terraria's neglected Mediumcore & PvP. Mediumcore Vanity items are no longer dropped when playing on a Mediumcore character, this include dyes. Multiplayer/PvP Gemlock Zones: You can place Gemlocks correlating to your team color to establish a safe zone for your team These safe zones prevent other teams from griefing your base easily by making breaking blocks harder for other teams You need a Giant Gem correlating to your teams color to the Gemlock's protection You can resize the zone based on how much Glory your team has to protect a wider area of your build Glory System: Increase your team's glory by defeating bosses Glory determines the maximum size of your team's protected territory with the Gemlocks Boss Ownership System: Bosses can now only be damaged by the first team that summons them If all players of the owning team are dead, the boss ownership is transferred to the nearest team, so you can steal the boss by killing the other team's players! Party Changes: You can only select a party once per world. Changing teams after that can only be done by an admin player, which can be set by using the "omadmin <playername>" command on the server console. PVP is forced to be always enabled. Misc. There are also some small tweaks in the works in preparation for 1.4.5, such as the Scrying Mirror now only working on your teammates instead of globally, be aware the only change applied to singleplayer is the removal of vanity item drops, all other changes are only applied in multiplayer.
