PvP Rules Customizer A PvP-focused quality-of-life rules toolkit for Terraria multiplayer worlds. Core Features - In-game PvP Rules menu: Manage world rules, client settings, banned items, import/export, and the PvP calculator from one interface. - World-saved and synced rules: PvP settings are saved with the world and synchronized in multiplayer. - PvP damage variation toggle: Choose whether player-versus-player hits use Terraria's random final damage variation. - Differentiated PvP knockback: Use the attacking weapon or projectile knockback instead of Terraria's unified PvP knockback. - PvP critical hits: Allow PvP hits to roll weapon or projectile critical chance. - PvP invulnerability frames: Configure how many immunity frames players receive after PvP hits. Banned Item System - Banned held items: Prevent selected weapons or items from being used in PvP. - Banned carried items: Restrain players who carry listed items in their inventory while PvP is enabled. - Banned equipment: Restrict selected armor and accessories from PvP loadouts. - Category filters: Includes melee, ranged, magic, summon, placeable, terrain-breaking, armor, accessories, and more. - Fast search: Search by localized name, English/internal name, item ID, or ModName:ItemName key. Restrictions only apply after the player enables PvP. When a violation is detected, the player is continuously restrained with Stoned and Webbed, and the offending items are reported in chat. Permissions And Server Control - Configure who can edit world rules: server only, server and admins, or everyone. - Dedicated servers can manage PvPQoL admins through console commands. - Players without permission can still view rules and export JSON, but cannot modify world rules or banned lists. Import / Export - Export world PvP rules as JSON. - Import JSON rule sets for easy server setup and migration. - Vanilla and modded items are saved with stable keys, such as: Terraria:ItemName ModName:ItemName Client-Side Comfort - Scope aim mode: Choose between hold-to-aim and click-to-toggle for scoped guns. - Client settings only affect your local client and are not written into world rule files. - Includes English and Simplified Chinese localization. PvP Calculator (Beta) - Configure Player A and Player B with armor, accessories, weapon, buffs, and prefixes. - Import the current local player's equipment and active buffs. - Import or export individual player loadouts as JSON. - Calculate the theoretical PvP damage dealt by Player A to Player B. - Results include damage, theoretical variation range, defense, endurance, knockback, critical chance, and diagnostic stats. Note: The PvP Calculator is still in Beta. It uses public tModLoader damage modifiers and PvP hooks where available, but it should not be treated as a perfect replica of Terraria's full in-world hit pipeline. Recommended For - PvP server owners - Communities that need consistent match rules - PvP rooms that want to restrict specific gear, weapons, or strategies - Multiplayer worlds that need portable PvP rule presets PvP Rules Customizer does not add stronger gear. I tried really hard to make sure these all are balanced...I really did. I hope they are. If YOU find something out-of-whack, then tell ME, so I can attempt to fix it!
