Hotkey Mod
by 76561197976376011
A mod to add a pletora of new qualitie of life hotkeys, and fixing/enhancing some dysfunctional default keybinds. Please opt-in to the Pre-Aquatica BETA in Steam game properties to make this mod working! If the Pre-Aquatica is ditched at one point, make sure to properly back up your game and restore the old state. Consult these instructions on how to do this. Here's another one. Other than that you can also use the Google search phrase "roll back game with steam database". This mod will not be compatible with the new Aquatica mod kit versions and game, for the forseeable future. This mod has been fully integrated into The Hunted 2.0 ASE version of the same mod for ASA on Curseforge: https://www.curseforge.com/ark-survival-ascended/mods/hotkey-mod !!!Make sure to unsub and resub on any new update here on the Steam page, because the ingame update procedure seems to be kind of unreliable!!! Hotkey Mod adds the following new hotkeys(IHK means "immersive supported"): 1. (IHK)Ghost Mode(Default: F10) --> can be combined with fly if fly is activated first 2. (IHK)Fly Mode(Default: F12) 3. Walk Mode(Default: F9) --> exits fly and ghost mode, so mind your height above ground 4. (IHK)Destroy/Kill Target(Default: OEM1 or ;) --> holding aim(targeting) will use kill instead 5. (IHK)Cryo Target(Default: OEM7 or ') --> does only work on dead and/or tamed dinos 6. CCC(Default: OEM3 or ~) --> save player coordinates/opposing rotation for move to functions 7. Save World aka "Quicksave"(Default: Num*) --> uses the console command 8. (IHK)Force Tame(Default: L) --> works on virtually any wild Dino out of the box 9. Move Target To(Default: J) --> is using CCC as target location/rotation 10. Quick Inventory Shoulder Pet(Default: F5) --> quick access to shoulder pet inventory 11. Quick Exit Game(Default: Alt+F1) --> this is instant, no menus, no saving, no warning! 12. Hide Floating Names(Default: F3) --> will hide overhead Dino info for all Dinos 13. Move to Player(Default: K) --> will teleport any Dino within the .ini set distance to the player 14. Heat Vision(Default: F)--> will drain configurable amount of health and has level restriction 15. Activate Simple Spawners(Default: Alt+F)--> needs Simple Spawners installed 16. Deactivate Simple Spawners(Default: Alt+D)--> needs Simple Spawners installed 17. (Special)Zoom In/Out Alternative(Default: Alt+MouseScroll) --> if you rebound default keys 18. (Special)Reload Weapon(Default: Return/Enter)--> key is hardcoded, default .ini is "off" 19. (Special)Flyer Up/Down(Default: Enter(Return)/RightShift)--> holding "Prone" while pressing will up/down Flyer 20. (Special)Toggle Full HUD(Default: MiddleMouse+Enter)--> will toggle HUD as if you were using the original key 21. (Special)Execute Poop(Default: RightMouse+Enter)--> will make you poop as if using the original key. Choosing yolo poop in the .ini will allow you to poop as if your life depends on it! Add this to your GameUserSettings.ini for configuration: KeyGhostMode=F10 ModifierGhost=False KeyFlyMode=F12 ModifierFly=False KeyWalkMode=F9 ModifierWalk=False KeyKillTarget=ü ModifierKill=False KeyCryoTarget=ä ModifierCryo=False KeyCCC=ö ModifierCCC=False KeySaveWorld=Multiply ModifierSave=False KeyForceTame=L ModifierTame=False KeyMoveTarget=J ModifierMoveTarget=False UseAltZoom=True KeyZoomIn=MouseScrollUp ModifierZoomIn=True KeyZoomOut=MouseScrollDown ModifierZoomOut=True UseAltReload=False KeyShoulderInv=SpaceBar ModifierShoulderInv=False KeyQuickExit=F1 ModifierQuickExit=True KeyHideNames=F3 ModifierHideNames=False KeyTeleportDino=K ModifierTeleportDino=False DistanceTeleportDino=5000.0 KeyFlyerUp=Enter KeyFlyerDown=RightShift UseHeatVision=True KeyHeatVision=F2 ModifierHeatVision=False HeatVisionLevel=25 HealthDrainValue=0.15 KeyActivateSS=F ModifierActivateSS=True KeyDeactivateSS=D ModifierDeactivateSS=True UseImmersiveHK=False NumberOfElement=3 UseStatPay=False UseYoloPoop=False Refer to this website for UE terminology of keys: https://michaeljcole.github.io/wiki.unrealengine.com/List_of_Key/Gamepad_Input_Names/ - all literal letters must be written capital("G" instead of "g") - all OEM literal letters must be written non-capital ("ä, ö, ü" instead of "Ä, Ö, Ü") - all keys are on your keyboard are configurable - don't use two overlapping functions on one and the same key without solid reason - modifier key is always left or right "Alt". "CTRL" and "Shift" are not supported Things to know, EVO version: - the immersive mode is going to expect element in your inventory, which will be consumed on usage of the specific keys, or will reduce significant amounts of health, break your armor and apply more severe punishment if you spam the keys. The amount of damage when using the "StatPay" feature is defined by the element cost number. Stat pay will only be applied without Element in your inventory. The logic is: the higher the amount of element you invest(in your .ini), the lower the impact of stat damage - I recommend using a modifier key for the quick exit option, due to obvious reasons - the hotkey logic works client side, but of course cheats have to be enabled server side for some functions to properly work. This issues isn't present for single player games - using the hotkey to teleport Dinos has a glitchy behaviour due to stubborn persistent AI behaviour. If the Dino doesn't exactly end up in the position/rotation you want it to be, just spam the hotkey. The AI will eventually give up and accept your request. Funny though, this behaviour isn't present in ASA, probably due to inferior AI - the move to will rotate the target Dino ending up as if it was facing you - the teleport to player will have a scan distance to conifugre in the .ini - the hotkey to hide Dino names will work indepentend of the actual game setting flag, and the default overhead name toggle. It forces a more "radical" approach, covering any piece of overhead information of every single Dino, and has no delay - the notification text for some of the hotkeys, expecting a target, will fire regardless if a target was hit. This is done because a sphere or line trace must have a distance set, which would limit the effectivenes of the hotkey function, let alone creating much more negative impact on performance - the following hotkeys will not fire if you are riding a Dino: walk, ghost, fly, kill, cryo, forcetame and moveto. This is done for obvious reasons - the elevate/lower/strafing/backwards Dino will work for any Flyer the player has mounted - the heat vision has a level restriction and a health drain value. Both are configurable within the .ini. Don't go too high for the health drain parameter. With the deafult value of 0.15 you lose about 1.5 points of health per 10 seconds. - holding the Hotkey Mod "Reload" key and pressing the "Target Inventory" key will toggle HUd
