For example, without a Lihzahrd Altar you can't fight Golem and without Hellforge you can't get Adamantite/Titanium Forge. Likewise, without marble/granite/ice/snow blocks there's no way of recreating these biomes in skyblock maps (you can still obtain snow blocks in hardmode, but that means missing on Deerclops and a lot of ice biome themed loot), limiting the progression or requiring builders to add addition materials/structures/chests to the map.
