LuiAFK Reborn DLC - Tooltip Optimizer An unofficial performance patch for LuiAFK Reborn DLC. What it fixes Large modpacks can suffer severe stutters the first time a modded item's tooltip is shown. The affected LuiAFK tooltip path performs a full localization-table scan on cache misses. This patch replaces that hot path with direct localization-key lookups while preserving the original per-item cache and tooltip semantics. Measured result On a 58-mod test setup with 57,283 loaded localization keys: - Before: individual LuiAFK tooltip contributions of roughly 90-216+ ms were observed. - After: the same ModifyTooltips hook measured around 0.005-0.02 ms during cold-start validation. Requirements LuiAFK Reborn DLC Compatibility Validated against LuiAFK Reborn DLC 1.5.8.2 and tModLoader 2026.07 stable. Future versions are allowed when the expected private method signature remains compatible; otherwise the optimizer safely disables itself and writes a warning to the log. Safety This mod does not modify save files, item stats, recipes, or the original LuiAFK .tmod. Disabling it restores the original behavior immediately.
