Trench Foot - Shoes Break From Stomping

Do note, shoes do naturally take damage from stomping in vanilla. This is considered a nerf for a reason! Trench Foot - Stomp Properties Makes stomping zombies degrade shoes/socks based on the footwear stats, and your Maintenance/Tailoring Skill. Also adds a chance to get foot pain from stomping without socks, and/or with broken shoes. Socks are less likely to be damaged when wearing good condition shoes. Gives an overhead notification when shoes/socks break Adds a clothes ripping sound when shoes/socks break. Trench Foot - Discomfort Adds 0.1 discomfort to boots, nothing else. Works on B41.78, B42.13.0, B42.13.1 WARNING: THIS MOD IS INTENDED FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CASUAL OR BEGINNER PLAYERS. ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SAVES ABOUT In vanilla Project Zomboid, the player can only be dragged down if a minimum number of zombies attack at the same time, and this threshold heavily depends on zombie strength settings. For example, zombies with weak strength may require up to six attackers, while superhuman strength zombies require only two. This mod changes that behavior entirely. With this mod enabled, only a configurable number of zombies are required to drag the player down, regardless of zombie strength. By default, only 2 zombies are needed but this value is fully configurable, and you can even set it to 1 if you enjoy extremely punishing, hardcore gameplay. Sandbox Options The mod is fully configurable through Sandbox settings: - Required number of zombies attacking the player simultaneously to trigger a Drag Down death (from 1 to 5). - Configurable attack time windows (in milliseconds). These determine how close in time zombie attacks must be to count together. - Option to require a real hit from a zombie before a Drag Down can occur. If disabled, simply passing near the required number of zombies while they perform attack animations (even without dealing damage) can still trigger a Drag Down. It is strongly recommended to keep this option enabled to avoid unfair or “fake” deaths. All settings are optional and can be adjusted to fit vanilla, hardcore, or custom server experiences. FAQ - Q: Does this mod work on existing saves? - A: Yes. It works on already started games without issues. - Q: Is it safe to enable, disable, or uninstall mid-save? - A: Yes. - Q: Does it work in multiplayer? - A: - Build 41: It should work fine, if there's any problems, please contact me asap. - Build 42: I am currently unable to test multiplayer due to a personal issue/bug preventing me from playing MP on B42.
