Build yourself your very own ranch. For the longest time i've thought of DST's husbandry potentials have been widely went unseen. I've always wanted to be able to actually properly raise animals in this game and this project is just about that. Do note that the mod is currently in it's very infancy. The numbering system for the mod's versions will be like this: v.1.0.1.0 (1= the current stage of the mod, 0= how many updates the mod has received thus far, 1= how many small content updates the mod has received thus far, 0= how many big content updates the mod has received thus far. ) What can you currently do with the mod? Ever since i learned how to get goat milk in this game it always just weirded me out. Charging the goat and killing it? Weird. At the current stage of the mod, you can dehorn Volt Goats and turn them into Unvolted Goats. Unvolted Goats are mostly passive animals. They can't get overcharged by lightning, they panic and run away when attacked, but most importantly they can be milked with an empty bottle. currently the bottle is consumed upon use. A volt goat dehorned by a razor will yield milk every 4 days. The goat grows it's horns back every 20 days. Dehorning a goat near it's friends aggros every goat in the vicinity, so do be careful. The mod will be expanded upon as time goes on. I'll add cheese and goat milk butter and recipes that derive from these food items the next update. My long term goals include adding genders to the animals for an actual breeding system. Each beast i see fit to be domesticated will be domesticate-able. Anyhow, enjoy free goat horns and milk for fair price. I am very new to the whole modding thing and my finals are coming up so progress will be slow but it will be there.
