Which version should you run?
Vanilla can be tested directly on 26.2. For plugins or mods, the slowest required dependency decides: remain on the previous version until the server software and every mandatory extension support the target. 26.3 Snapshot 10 is a preview and is not part of this production matrix.

- Create a complete backup of the world, configuration and extensions.
- Record the current version and verify the target version for every loader, mod, plugin and client.
- Test on a copy first, checking startup logs, login and world loading.
