What is the difference between PvE and PvP?
PvE: players fight together against NPCs and explore the world. PvP: players can attack each other and destroy castles. You choose the mode when creating the server — switching is possible with a server restart.
How many players can join the server?
V Rising supports up to 40 players simultaneously. For a small group of up to 10 players, 4 GB RAM is sufficient. For full 40 players we recommend 8 GB.
Are save games backed up?
Yes, manual and scheduled backups are included. You can configure the backup interval in the dashboard and restore older saves at any time.
Can I configure the server after it starts?
Yes! You can adjust server name, password, max players, RCON, and all game settings presets at any time in the dashboard. Changes take effect after the next server restart.
Do all players need their own copy of the game?
Yes, all players need V Rising on Steam. The dedicated server itself runs continuously — players can connect whenever they want.
Are mods supported on V Rising dedicated servers?
Yes, V Rising supports BepInEx mods on dedicated servers. Upload mods via the file manager into the BepInEx plugins folder — all players must have the same mods installed. Popular Nexus Mods community mods add new vampire abilities, customised drop rates, and quality-of-life improvements for private servers.
Do I get my own subdomain?
Yes. Every server includes a subdomain like my-server.game-serverhosting.com, and you can change it anytime in the dashboard.
What are the free extras?
Every server can enable free add-ons such as Uptime Kuma, Sinusbot, Game Server Watcher, and more with one click in the dashboard.
How quickly is my server online?
Typical initial setup: about 3 minutes. Queues or large installations can take longer.
Is there a minimum contract term?
There is no long-term minimum. Billing is a monthly subscription and automatic renewal can be disabled. Longer terms may qualify for discounts.
Are the servers located in Germany?
Yes. All game servers run in German data centres (Falkenstein and Limburg) connected to the major German exchanges — low pings for players across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and solid latency for the rest of Europe.
Which provider is best for my server?
